Service Description

Eyebrow tinting is a pain-free, semi-permanent technique used to temporarily dye the brow hairs and skin underneath. Define your brows and make them look fuller by darkening lighter hairs that normally go unseen, creating a more youthful appearance and leaving a temporary stain on the skin that acts as a guide to follow with your favorite brow makeup to help you recreate the shape at home. Please arrive at your appointment with clean eyebrows. Remove any traces of shadow, pencil or powder, and make sure there’s no oily residue from tanning oils, facials or other treatments. Clean brows will ensure the tint can absorb properly. EYEBROW TINTING FAQ Q: CAN I STILL WASH MY FACE? A: Yes! You can wash your face and shower after eyebrow tinting. Try to avoid applying oil based products directly on your eyebrows or using harsh face washes that will lighten the tint more quickly. Q: CAN I GO SWIMMING? A: Just like hair dye, the quality of your color can be affected by sun exposure, saltwater and chlorine, so avoid these areas if you want to preserve your tint. Q: DOES EYEBROW TINTING WORK ON SPARSE BROWS? A: Yes, eyebrow tints work on sparse brows. This is because the dye darkens the fine, light hairs that you don’t normally notice, as well as baby hairs. The end result is a fuller, natural-looking brow. EYEBROW WAXING FAQ Q: HOW LONG SHOULD I GROW OUT MY EYEBROWS BEFORE SCHEDULING MY FIRST EYEBROW SHAPING APPOINTMENT? A: It's best to let your eyebrows grow out 4-6 weeks before your service without any tweezing or shaving. Q: HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET MY EYEBROW WAXED? A: Depending on the rate of your hair growth (everyone is different), waxing can be done every 4-6 weeks. Q: I USE RETIN A EVERY DAY, CAN I STILL GET WAXED? Yes, but only if use of any facial products containing Retin A, glycolic and salicylic acids, or extreme amounts of vitamin A is discontinued for at least 3 days BEFORE and AFTER service. Q: I JUST HAD A CHEMICAL PEEL, CAN I STILL GET WAXED? A: No, waxing temporarily removes the outermost layer of skin and this may cause more of your skin to lift with wax than usual. Please wait at least 7 days to visit. Q: CAN I STILL GET WAXED IF I HAVE A SUN BURN? A: No, waxing temporarily removes the outermost layer of skin. If your skin is burned, or you have been using any exfoliating facial products or products that contain Retin A, glycolic and salicylic acids then waxing may cause skin to lift and/or become severely irritated.
